My pores suck!!!!

I need a product recommendation for something that will minimize my pores. Please help!!! Thank you in advance!!!

RE: My pores suck!!!!

Smash box photo finish primer helps minimize my pores when I wear it under makeup. but it has silica in- which some people don't like.

Re: My pores suck!!!!

@Anonymous I use mechanical exfoliation with Philosophy Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash; Neutrogena has nice ones so long as you avoid ones with fragrance.  BHA is essential for me; I use Paula's Choice BHA 9 but she has some in 1 and 2 percent.  I also use Retin-A.  You can't decrease the size of your pores, but once you commit to a routine that limits build up in the pores, their size looks smaller.  Good luck!

What's your skincare routine? @jesscheems Has a good suggestion about masks. Trying to get on a regular schedule with them can help. You can also try exfoliating. Dr.Dennis Gross has nice pads, as does First Aid Beauty.

Re: My pores suck!!!!

Are you looking for a face mask to help minimize pores or rather a primer to help fill in your pores?

I like to use Aztec Indian Healing Clay with some ACV. You can try any sort of a clay mask to draw out the toxins etc. If you don't want to try that you can use a pore filling primer. There are many out there. One I would suggest checking out is the Benefit Porefessional. @Anonymous

Re: My pores suck!!!!

Hello! I understand your struggle, my T zone pores are larger than i like so i always try to find a primer or that would blur or minimize them. There are multiple things i would suggest depending on what your price range is.

  1.  (Long-term) - Lancôme Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector Serum $79 - $115 = This is defiantly more on the expensive side but it works very well of a daily morning routine and i saw a difference within two day. I also saw a great difference from the amount of oily my skin had by the end of the day which is a great plus!
  2. (Long-term)  Perricone MD Intensive Pore Minimizer $60 - less expensive but still gets the job done leaving my skin look more radiant and cleaner if that makes sense XD
  3. (Instant) Dr. Brandt Skincarepores no more® pore refiner primer $45 - less expensive and can instantly see the blur and the minimization of the pores. Also absorbs oil and give a more matte finish.

There are also many primers you can use such as the benefit pore less primer or one of the Urban Decay primers. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!
