Best Lip Balm Recommendations?

Hi! My lips have been sooo dry lately so I need some help!

I’ve been trying to find a lip balm that helps moisturizes my lips but also something doesn’t leave a sticky residue.

Do you guys have any recommendations for a lip balm that would fit my expectations? Or maybe any lip balm that you stand by!

Thanks! ❤️

Re: Best Lip Balm Recommendations?

@annp0502 The ladies below have some amazing recommendations. However, I rarely find these mentioned so I figured I'd weigh in my two cents. If you're looking for an amazing lip treatment that you can use on-the-go as a balm as well (that is quite similar to a slightly thicker balm texture) then I cannot recommend the Too Faced Hangover Pillow Balm Ultra-Hydrating Lip Balm enough. I've used the Laneige masks and although they're great I don't feel the effects of the hydration many hours later like I do with this one. The Agave mask is great as well but it's quite thick and I rarely reach for it unless I need something for insanely dry winter lips (I live in quite a cold climate). The Too Faced balm is an "in between" texture of these two, it comes with an applicator which is great because I hate the feeling of lip products on my hands. Whenever I wake up in the morning I can completely feel the effects every single time.

I found this product a bit by accident during a BOGO mini sale at Ulta and I ended up adding this one to my cart. I now own multiple different scents of these and really cannot imagine my life without this product. The mini size is also quite affordable so that you can "try it out before you fully commit" unlike a lot of lip treatments that only come in a full size and it actually has a lot of product (lasted me a little over ~1.5 months with multiple times per day usage). 🙂

Hope you find something that works for your out of these recommendations.

Re: Best Lip Balm Recommendations?

@annp0502  Aquaphor Ointment. Not the product Aquaphor markets as an SPF lip balm (though it may work for some folks), just the plain ol' ointment. Apply to damp (with water, not saliva) lips. Really, any petrolatum-based balm should moisturize dry lips. I prefer Aquaphor because it also contains lanolin and panthenol to boost hydration, plus I like the texture better than that of other petrolatum-based balms like CeraVe Healing Ointment and 100% petroleum jelly (Vaseline and other brands). Some folks prefer Vaseline or the CeraVe ointment.

I use Aquaphor as my daily lip balm and it keeps my lips moisturized for hours. I frequently wear it under lipstick. I even apply a separate SPF lip bam (by Vanicream) over it, because the SPF balm's not moisturizing enough for me on its own (contains no petrolatum).
