Re: iLia Skin tint

Glad you like it - I've seen some mixed reviews about it, and I fall into the camp of people that this is a bit too drying for unfortunately. It certainly looked nice on the skin, but left my skin feeling tight and a couple of the bumps of irritation showed up on my skin that I get when whatever is on my skin is just drying it out too much.
The smell also took a while to fade completely, I wonder if that was the same in your experience?

Re: iLia Skin tint

That’s a great question! I don’t experience dryness of any sort or any reaction when using this skin tint. That may be due to the way I prep my face before using the skin tint. I moisturize before applying the skin tint.

As far as the smell, I never really paid attention to how long it lingers but I do know that things with spf have a distinct smell and it lingers so you might be right on the money with that one.

Re: iLia Skin tint

I go in with my full skincare routine to pack in moisturization before applying foundation/ SPF too - was just curious if you did anything special that I might have missed, but seems this is just not suited to my skin type.
That's okay though - not everything is for everyone - just unfortunate I'll have to give this a pass since I was impressed they had multiple olive undertone offerings which is rare enough in large foundation ranges.
Thanks for the reply.
