wrong samples - is the choice even working for anyone?

I don't think I've received the samples I've chosen even once this summer, and I've made quite a few purchases. It's not that they're out of stock, because I can see the samples I've chosen still being offered with purchase when I open my package and find...foundation I'm allergic to in a light causcasian skintone? It's stuff that's BEYOND not useful for me, and like the folks packing the boxes aren't even trying. Is anyone getting the samples they've chosen? If it was an order or two, sure, but this has been going on for months now. It feels wasteful throwing them all in the trash, but...not sure what else I'm supposed to do with this garbage.

Hi everyone, so sorry to hear this! We appreciate the feedback, and while the warehouse will make sample substitutions as needed, this is also something we're actively working on. Thanks for your patience!

Hey! I am having problems with the samples as well. I don't get ANY samples anymore and I haven't since the end of May. Also and what makes me want to scream is I have missed at least 7 promo code items, including the VIB gifts where I have to spend up to $45 to get the gift. And then the idiots packing my stuff up don't put the gift in my box. I'm thinking of just moving on from Sephora. Lots of other stores would love to take my money.

I think the end of May is about when things went crazy for me, too. I've gotten most of the receipt-listed promos I've chosen and any points gifts, but anything else? All the nope. I also keep seeing messages about high order volumes delaying shipments on the checkout page, and the samples are no longer ever listed on the receipts, so I don't know if maybe they need more staff...or if the warehouse just can't even see the selections now?

 

My local Sephora has great customer service, but I'm starting to make my online purchases elsewhere.

I always get my chosen samples, but I'm ordering from the Canadian warehouse.

Maybe it's time for me to move to Canada! 😉
