Credit Card Payment on Checkout?
I'm trying to understand why when I add the gift card to my order my
total goes up with a "credit card payment" section added to it? The math
doesn't add up!

@GracieGurung The screenshot you posted shows that your total is $50.76.
As you applied a $25 gift card, your remaining balance is $25.76.

I understand that the credit car payment line shows the actual amount
after the gift card is added to the basket. However, I do not understand
why when I go to pay it still shows the total amount charged as the
amount without the gift card.

redeemed or not; the Order Total is the amount of the entire order. If

@cloudiatodman If your gift card does not cover the total completely,
the remainder would need to be charged to a card. In the example in this
post, you can see that the credit card payment was reduced by the amount
of the gift card.

@BriaMichelleOG If you are using a gift card, you will see the gift card
amount redeemed and the remainder to go on your credit card of choice
under credit card payment.

I am having a strongly similar concern. Originally, the total for my
order was $87. With the gift card included which was $40, the price
should have went down to $47 total with the tax payment! I want the
credit card payment removed
