visa gift card won’t work

hi, so I’m trying to buy one thing with my vanilla visa gift card. The total of my order is $22 and I have $50 on my gift card. I’ve made sure the visa gift card is activated and I have made sure everything I put in was correct. It just keeps saying “Unable to place your order. Please verify that your card information and billing address are correct. If applicable, we have reversed any pending charges to your account.” once I click place order.

HI @ilovestarbucks To use the card, it must be registered to a temporary billing address. You can register the billing address by calling the number on the back of the card! If you're still unable to place your order, I recommend using an alternate form of payment. Thank you.

hi again, I called them and they said Sephora usually doesn’t let vanilla visa gift cards to be used to purchase online. thank you for your help though.
