using a gift card for online purchase

So disappointed in Sephora when trying to use a gift card as payment...how was I supposed to know that I needed to put the gift card into my payment profile first, rather than just using it as a payment method in checkout?

Why can't you just do a return and re-order?  I now have to drive 20 miles to the nearest FedEx office, or 47 miles to the nearest Sephora in order to use a $25 gift card.  So frustrating!!!!

@Dancermum I'm sorry for the confusion! Gift cards are entered in the Payment Method section at checkout. I will take a look and will send you a PM.
