summer fridays lip gloss

Hi there, a few months ago I bought a Summer Friday's lip gloss in-store. After light use for about a week and a half, the entire applicator came off the tube. I thought it was just a fluke thing so I bought another one about a month later and it just broke the same way. 

Is there anything I can do about that? They are very expensive lip glosses and it sucks that they broke like that.
