strange error message in iOS app

after downloading the most recent app update, I now get an error message whenever I attempt to add something to my basket. The error message says: You are not allowed enroll to Flash. This is not a typo… That is the exact copy of the error message. Also, when selecting a shade, sometimes a shade other than the one I select is added to my basket. Other times I am not able to select a color at all, because the color selection screen is obscured by the new instant chat window. Seems there are some bugs in this latest version, so heads up, Sephora app developers.

Its happening to me as well, it can be very annoying. Not sure what they did to the last update to cause it, but hope it gets fixed soon!

I have also had issues with your app have spent 3 months now trying to fix this , you keep telling me to sign out then back in but nothing works . I’m very frustrated and your not able to fix this problem at all please just be truthful instead of wasting our time blaming us your supposed valued customers!

Hi @suekeefe, I'm so sorry to hear that! Rather than signing in and signing back out, I recommend completely deleting the app and re-installing it from your app store.  Please also make sure that your phone is using the most up to date OS version as well.  If you continue to have this error after that, please let us know.

Problem with the App

On the app any time i hit the add to cart button i get a message that says "sorry you cannot enroll in flash" and my item still goes to my cart but the message wont stop popping up. Any idea what it is?

I'm sorry to hear all of you are experiencing a technical issue on the mobile app. I recommend making sure you have the most updated version of the app and sometimes closing the app > signing out > signing in again helps! I will also forward this information to the appropriate department to make improvements. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Smiley Happy
