store credit is a scam

online purchases that are returned in store after 30 days only get you IN STORE credit, meaning you cannot make a purchase online with this card they give you at the store. what a scam! nobody explained this to me at the store and i have never heard of such a terrible return policy. why would I buy in store only when I've made all of my purchases online? Sephora customer service is the worst. this company needs to revise this scam return policy!

Thank you for sharing it with the correct department. I see other posts with this complaint about the return policy. I would like my online purchase returns to be credited for online or in-store, and not limited to only in-store credit. I hope to see this change soon.
