shipping restriction

Hello. I would like to place an order with a couple of items, one item being a dry shampoo. It says there is a shipping restriction and it will be shipped by ground. i am wondering if my whole order will be shipped by ground or will it be just that one item.

Due to federal regulations, hazmat items are shipped with ground shipping. This means that if one item is shipped through ground, the entire order will be shipped with ground shipping. Please send me a private message if you need additional clarification.

I hope your doing good and staying safe.

I order from sephora US to and intermediate shipping address called myUS, and once the package arrives to my suite at myUS I would ship it by air to my final destination(which is the middle east). Since im shipping by air, this means i cant ship restricted items. I'm having difficult times to know what products are restricted and what are not. and I would usually be informed that the product is flammable or cant be shipped once I try to ship it to my final destination. It would help if there is a way I can tell that an item is restricted.

All hazmat items will state that there are shipping restrictions once you add the item to your cart. Examples of these items are nail polishes, fragrances, aerosol cans and products containing certain ingredients such as alcohol are required to be shipped via ground transport. These items are regulated by the US Department of Transportation for travel safety reasons. I hope that this helps.

You’ll have to do the research on your own. For some items that have to be shipped by ground such a nail polish, it will tell you in the cart that there’s a restriction. But for everything else since you are the one having the order shipping within the US and then forwarded out of the county, it’s on you to do the research & find out what you can and can’t have flown out. Sephora isn’t going to do the work for you. Perhaps your forwarding servicing can help you?
