sephora will not give me my store credit

I returned an item by mail between the 60-90 day mark, and as per the return confirmation email, I SHOULD have received store credit. Instead, it was refunded to the card used. Would be fine, however this is a prepaid card that I no longer have, and was told not to worry because it would be in store credit. I contacted support after I received the return confirmation email and was told that I have store credit. This was a lie. I have screenshots of this conversation. As I tried to checkout during the sale, I called and asked because I see NO store credit. They then told me that since it was already processed to the card, I would have to contact visa and get the card info (keep in mind I do not have any proof of purchase, received as a gift), and that if I was not able to get it through them then I'm out of luck. Absolutely ridiculous. Tried getting through and getting the card info but they were no help. This refund was over $100. I'm loosing over $100 because of Sephora's OWN mistake, and to make matters worse, the fact that they lied to me and told me I had store credit. I do have screenshots of this conversation as well. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Called several times over the past couple days and its always the same.
