sephora credit card issues

i’ve tried using my card in store & online & keep receiving an error code. i have plenty of available credit, but i cannot use the card. i used the card for purchases about 2 weeks ago with no problem. not sure what the issue is.

I'm so sorry about this! Comenity should be able to look into this for you once they are up and running again. I recommend reaching out to them via phone at a later time, as they are experiencing a system outage, for further assistance,. Just like @tysthelimit I too experienced issues with my Sephora credit card approx two weeks ago.  Called customer service and the rep said there was an issue with the expiration date on the card and it was flagged as fraudulent.  This made no sense, so asked the customer care rep to cancel the card and issue a new one, which she ssaid she would do, giving me the expectation that it would arrive within 2 business days.  I called on Sunday 10 July and I have still not received the card.  I have tried to call customer care and no one is picking up the phone so not sure what to do.  I sent an email message today so am anxious to see when somebody responds

I am so sorry to hear about this! Regretfully, we don't have access to Comenity's system and unable to check on your credit card for you. I recommend reaching out to Comenity via phone again to see if they know when your credit card should be arriving. Please note, hold times may be longer than expected. I'm truly sorry for any inconvenience caused!
