what can be done about getting the wrong samples most of the time?

i hope someone answers. i got my order today, and i didnt get any of the samples I had requested, and I was really looking forward to them.

I didn't receive any samples at all my last 3 orders. So consider yourself lucky. It's been months since I actually received the samples I picked out. It does say you may not get the ones you picked out so I'm sure there's nothing to be done about that but at least you got something.

Same here! My order arrived today - LOVE the It's Skin Mini Bebe Hand Cream in Lime by the way - BUT NONE OF MY CHOSEN SAMPLES! Argh! I ONLY ORDERED IN THE FIRST PLACE to try out the DevaCurl Micellar Buildup Buster! I've been interested for a while but the reviews show it to be either a love it or hate it kinda thing & I'm not blowing $28 on something I hate! I have long thick curly hair so when I saw a sample that was a full ounce - which is definitely what it takes with my hair - I was thrilled to try it out & ordered something immediately! It took 4 days to arrive - even with 2 day Flash Shipping - but I was SO excited to try out the DevaCurl Sample I even pushed my Wash Day till it arrived! I got the package... NO DEVACURL SAMPLE! NONE OF THE SAMPLES I CHOOSE ARRIVED! NONE! I KNOW they didn't run out because THEY'RE STILL THERE as options! ARGH! It's really stupid on Sephora's part since 2 out of the 3 samples were things I wanted to buy if they worked out! I don't have time to drive an hour or two out of my way to my local Sephora - the traffic here sucks! I wish the tourists would either go home or take an Uber because they can't drive! It's SO FRUSTRATING! It makes me want to SWITCH TO ULTA instead! Argh!

Same! I never get the samples I pick out but I feel like with all the info they have about us they should match it with something similar or at least useful. I don't mind having extra skincare or makeup that works for multiple skin tones but these last few orders they sent me the DevaCurl I didn't ask for [I have straight hair/no wonder they ran out for you] perfume samples [I'm allergic] and foundation samples that are way too light.

that's how i felt with my samples. i was looking forward to the lancome powder, bite masks, and the Versace fragrance. I ended up with 2 fragrance samples (i tried guerlain and really like it), and a skincare sample, but my whole order was already skincare. the bite masks are still showing as an option. i'm going to give them a try even though i was really looking forward to what i originally chose.

I'd imagine nothing, because sample choice isn't guaranteed as it says on the selection page.
