rouge hotline was so disappointing

just spent half an hour on the phone with 2 different "beauty advisors" on the rouge hotline and neither of them were able to answer my questions. I thought those people were supposed to be beauty specialists? they basically put me on hold then came back, had me search for SKU#s and then just read me the back of the bottle of the product I was asking about when my question was how to integrate the product into my routine. I already miss out on most rouge benefits because I live in a small town (even flash shipping isn't available for me) and now the hotline has proven to be just as disappointing. I'm super bummed, I love sephora but I don't like feeling like my concerns and questions don't matter.

Re: rouge hotline was so disappointing

If it helps @LemonSour SR Tidal replaced my moisturizer except on days I'm feeling extra dry. On those days I need an extra oil on top, and usually an additional heavier moisturizer at night. I think the consistency is probably very similar to the Dr. J Water Drop, so I don't think you need both.

Thanks @heartsmyface and @RGbrown! I'll look into your suggestions for sure. but it's still a bummer that the rouge line just confused and frustrated me more than I already was.

Re: rouge hotline was so disappointing

Which product are you referring to and which other products are you already using?  @LemonSour

currently using : clinique take the day off, Korres Greek yoghurtcleanser, boscia balancing facial tonic, Dr.Jart water drop, korres wild rose sleeping facial, tarte maracuja eye treatment, herbivore instant glow mask, fresh sugar face polish ( every 3 days) and glow watermelon sleeping mask. the products I want to work in are Sunday Riley brightening enzyme and IT cosmetics confidence in a cream. And I alsowanted advise on what else to add to my routine. I'm 31 so I feel like I need start to address different concerns, like retinol and such.. thought who better to help me than the rouge line, but was totally let down.

Re: currently using : clinique take the day off, Korea Greek...

I would use the Sunday Riley tidal either to replace or in conjunction with the dr jart water drop.

The cream I would use before putting on a face mask.

As as a general rule of thumb (not a solid rule) you apply skincare by order of consistency with the thinner and more easily absorbed products going first and the thicker creams going last in order to seal everything in.

If you head to the skincare group you'll be bombarded with tons of useful information from a bunch of lovely ladies who are always eager to help.  @LemonSour

@LemonSour

I've never paid any attention to how sephora markets the Rouge line...I've always just assumed it's just another customer service contact for order/shipping issues etc.
