"Partial Shipment"? What does this mean?

I usually buy in store, because I've read too many stories here. I placed an app order on August 26,during the recent 20% sale, and it says partial shipment; what does this mean?

Partial shipment typically means that part of your order has shipped if your items are being shipped from different warehouses. You will also see this if you redeemed a reward such as the Celebration Tier points or subscribed for Flash shipping with the same order.
