RE: points

Unfortunately you have to engage in a silly game Sephora has created. It’s nonsensical and a waste of time. Additionally, you only have 90 days to use it, and Sephora only allows for you to use one code at a time during checkout. So if you find a good deal or you redeem your points during the 20% off period in the spring or you want to try out a new product requiring a code, you won’t be able to maximize your savings. Right now Lord & Taylor is having a $20 off of a $100 purchase. Another alternative is to join the Nordy Club at Nordstrom which allows you a whole year to redeem your rewards certificate. Seem like Sephora is trying to maximize their valuation since it was acquired by LVM and has chosen to de-value their loyal customers base. Very unfortunate corporate practice.

RE: points

You can’t. Looks like they are preparing to ditch the current “rewards” system that allowed you to get $25, $50 or $100 coupons in the rewards bazaar for a new system where you can use use points during checkout to get money off. The beta test allows us to use 500 points to get $10 off a purchase but it is not stackable so you can’t use 1000 points to get $20 off the purchase. Hopefully the beta test fails because 2500 points will save you a total of $50 on 5 Purchases. A $100 rouge reward was only 2500 points.

Re: points

Hi @longislandgirl,

We are testing an idea that would allow members to apply points to their purchase for an amount off. The beta test is a limited trial online and at select stores in the U.S. and Canada until 2/28/2020. At Sephora we are always looking to evolve our loyalty experience and look forward to hearing from our clients.

Best,

Penelope

Re: points

Am I able to redeem my points for cash off an online purchase in Canada? The location  of the store  for the beta test is in an inconvenient location.

Thk you

Kathy

Re: points

Hi @katvg,

The Rouge Reward is available in Canada. It is a $100 Reward that is available to Rouge clients in exchange for the redemption of 2,500 Beauty Insider points, while supplies last. The Rouge Rewards are released in our Rewards Bazaar on Tuesdays and Thursdays around 9 a.m. PST.

For more details about the Beauty Insider Cash beta test, please visit https://community.sephora.com/t5/Customer-Support/Beauty-Insider-Updates-Beta-FAQs/m-p/5155772. The sign-up period closed on 1/29/2020, or as soon as all spots were full. Thank you!

Best regards,

Laurie
