order says returned to sender

hello. my order couldn’t be delivered at my apartment bc i wasn’t home to sign so they took it to a ups access point. i didn’t know they only hold it for a specific amount of days so they ended up shipping it back aka “return to sender” i found this out because i went to the tracking for the order and it says returning to sender. will sephora try to send it again? or will i be refunded? id much rather have it resent as some of the products in the order are now sold out but am worried that i will just get a refund.
