one item still processing?

Hey, I recently made an online order a couple days ago and it says 11/12 items have shipped and one item is still processing. I'm just curious as to why the one item is still processing but all of the other items have shipped. Is it possible that the item still processing is out of stock or that something went wrong with the order?
