no samples in last 3 online orders

How very frustrating and disappointing to be expecting a tiny free thank you gift, after spending a lot of money with Sephora, yet no samples have been received for my last 3 orders.  I've noticed this is happening to a lot of clients - is there some reason for this?

I didn't even get a packing slip with the order I received today, although the online order shows that I should have received 2 free samples.  What the heck Sephora?  If you are unable to provide the free samples, please don't offer them and get us all excited 🤗.  I was really hoping to try Tom Ford's new perfume...not sure when that will happen now, as I don't live close to a Sephora store.
