my points diappeared

Went to Sephora today to redeem my birthday gift, thinking that I still had over 500 points, I wanted to redeem something else. The lady said you only have 24 points left, and said they expired after a year, but my last purchase was March 3, 2020 (today is March 2, 2021), they should not disappear, at least I should have been able to redeem them today.

 

I was so surprised, I was accumulating these points for quite some time because I didn't like the smaller gifts, I wanted to redeem 500 pts all at once and now where did they go?

 

I called customer service, spoke with the rep for half an hour. She checked with her adviser several times. No use. Somehow they couldn't see any of my history except 1 purchase many years ago. They couldn't see where my points went either. I asked her where's my redemption and points history? She couldn't keep track of it. 

 

On another note, back in 2017, a lady with the same last name called me from another state saying she could see all my profile and that I should contact Sephora. I did and couldn't recall if that was resolved. Today the rep put in my number and said you had 2 email addresses on file, one was mine, the other was that lady. How does Sephora protect my information and privacy?
