forgot to add apartment number- help!

Hello,

I recently ordered from Sephora but forgot to add my apartment number. there was an attempt to deliver the package, but it is back at the distribution center. After speaking with a few UPS representatives, they all say that they are blocked from changing or altering the delivery address on their end. They say the change has to be made from the sender side. But while chatting with Sephora, they directed me to change my address via ups... there seems to be some discrepancies between the two companies if anyone could please give me advice please and thank you! I would like to just pick up my package, but even that option prompts the message that 'This option is not eligible due to restrictions placed on the package by the sender."
