egift card purchase is a scam

My card was charged 3 times recived a message from Sephora stating unable to complete the transaction but was charged!!! So now I have NO egift card and $75.00 gone!!! What's going on Sophora!!!!

I'm sorry about this! It sounds like these are pending authorizations that will reverse. I did contact them and they stated I will recieve my refund in 1 to 7 days. It's been 3 days nothing yet. But it's not good customer service when the money was paid and the goods have not been received. People should be made aware of this problem that Sephora has... apparently I'm not the only one with this same issue. It's happen to multiple people in this community chat. Smells like a scam....

i just purchased my e-gift card 2 days ago and the same issue occured, did your money refund? im worried

@engimatic143 We do not have insight into Cash Star's system. I recommend contacting Cashstar by phone at (866) 286-1262 between 8am and 12am (eastern time) or via email at SephoraGiftcardSupport@cashstar.com for further assistance.
