buy online, pick up in store

so I placed a pick up in store order and after my order was processed, I was told that one of the items was out of stock and it would be removed from my purchase. I went to pick it up the available product and the reduced total was displayed on the Sephora app but I was still billed for both products. Question: will there be an automatic refund to the card used for the product that was out of stock/the one I never received OR do I have to call customer service to get that figured out?
