account hacked anyone？

So this morning someone hacked my account and placed an order of a Pitera welcome kit. They used my billing info, my credit card but their own address! The address is to California whereas I live in WA. I called Sephora and had the order cancelled but that was it. There was no explanation and no nothing?! Has this happened to anyone?! Ways of prevention? I’m scared to link anything to sephora now.
