Why lie about shipping??? Livid

So I placed an order on Dec 12 for one lipstick that’s in stock, I’m currently 39 weeks pregnant due Thursday and figured I'd order it to my home, didn’t want to drag 4 kids to sephora for a lipstick. I saw that Sephora said there may be a 1-2 day processing delay which was fine, I expected maybe 3 days before shipping, however a week later my order was still not shipped. I call and the man tells me it’s actually ready to ship now and I’ll get an email update with information regarding my call and shipping that day. Okay so this morning I get an email saying my order has shipped but it’s not expected to arrive for another 8 DAYS. That the entire hell... and I could have used a different 4 letter word there. Now my one lipstick that I ordered on the 12 with 2 day delay is arrive December 27... after the holidays. If I’d known that I would have canceled my order and drove to my local Sephora where it’s in stock! I feel you all are extremely misleading with that 1-2 day delay, meanwhile my shipping still says standard 3 day at the least. I really am just upset and find this straight bull... I’m definitely done with online ordering. Ughhh heavily disappointing Sephora.
