Why even offer samples any more?

During the pandemic, the free #samples I selected were frequently substituted with things I did not request and did not need, but I did not weigh in, because #COVID and because #supplychain.  But now, to not receive anything at all with my order? Requested two perfume samples, and got nothing. 

I don't get why Sephora even dangles the prospect of free samples if this is not something you can predictably and reliably fulfill. 

I've shopped with Sephora since their earliest days, but really think it's time to move my business to Nordstrom Beauty, Blue Mercury, or ((swallows hard, gasps)) Ulta.

Yes! this happens with every.single.order!!! I'm so tired of one thing or another with Sephora online orders!
