Why does Sephora use Lasership? Awful!

I was really disappointed to see that Sephora is using Lasership - they have delivered packages late almost every time, and several times my package has gone completely missing with Lasership (says it's delivered and never appears). I literally unsubscribed from Blue Apron just because Lasership was so unreliable.

Sure enough, my Sephora package was supposed to arrive on Sunday, and even though I was home, "out for delivery" changed to "unable to leave package." I submitted a ticket online, which was NEVER responded to, and when I finally called Customer Service, the woman I spoke to told me the driver was unable to find my house (???) but would try again the next day. On Monday, they allegedly attempted delivery again, but once again, the status changed to "unable to leave package." No further updates from Lasership since Monday and it's now Wednesday.

This is NOT a professional delivery company!! PLEASE stop using Lasership, and refund the $10 I spent on Flash shipping. I am seriously considering not ordering from Sephora again and taking my business elsewhere, as I had to do with Blue Apron. In addition to the sheer frustration, I have a $40 cleanser in that package that I'm concerned is now damaged from spending 4 days on a truck in a 90+ degree heat wave.
