What is the point of choosing samples?

This is getting beyond frustrating for me because 90% of the time when my order arrives I NEVER receive the samples I selected! What is the point of me choosing samples when Sephora will just send me whatever is currently laying around? On top of that, the samples aren’t even in the same category! I choose body cream and makeup wipe samples. I receive foundation samples that are too light for me to wear and an EMPTY fragrance sample. I choose a body cream and foundation primer samples. I receive a face cream sample. I know there is a limited supply of samples, so if my selections can’t be guaranteed, then take them away. Either let us choose a general category or surprise us with whatever gets throw in the box (since it seems like Sephora is already doing that). It is also annoying to see my account keeping track of all the samples I am not receiving. And it is even more annoying to receive emails or notifications suggesting I try the full size version of all the samples I am not receiving. I apologize for the long rant, but this keeps happening, and I am becoming increasingly annoyed by it.

We're very sorry to hear that you haven't been reverencing the correct complementary samples.  We understand any frustration caused as samples are a great way to try products.  We do our best to include free samples selected in orders and substitutions may be made for out-of-stock samples.  I'm going to send you a PM shorty for assistance.
