What happens to returns ?

Hello from Sephora!

Thank you for your inquiry about a replacement of your damaged item(s). I am sorry to hear your new product(s) did not come in perfect condition. I am sure you are excited to enjoy the product(s), and I am glad to extend a reshipment in this instance.

Please be on the lookout for a confirmation email for your new order. It will also include the tracking information so that you are able to easily access the delivery progress once with the carrier.

We ask for you to return the damaged item to us, starting with printing a free return label at: www.sephora.com/returnlabel. Once you print the label and pack the item, you can visit any post office to drop it off.

It is important to us that you can receive your products successfully. As additional instances of missing items would be considered highly unusual, please know that future issues with an order at this address may not be eligible for a reshipment or refund.

And then I sent back later the same night with no response the following;

Thank you! I will send back damaged? item tomorrow. I’m just curious when people return items what happens to them? Because this item is not damaged it’s very clearly used, the package is scratched and it’s been opened and used there is product missing from the bottle.

I also attached eight pictures along with the email that shows the slight damage to the box the leakage and the crust/gooey product all around the opening and the missing product.
I've had issues in the past with missing samples but never used or missing whole items. I also didn't appreciate the last part of the email it sounded like the person was inferring that I'm some kind of liar or cheat. Also why is it now saying I only have 800 points I should have like 1250

@Sachalola I'm sorry to hear that you received a used item! Returned items that are sent back to our distribution center are typically  sent back to the vendor for review and inspection. If you need further assistance with your order or return, please send me a PM with your order number.

Sorry I also forgot to mention I had ordered the perfume Xtra Milk by DedCool and it wasn’t in the package! I only received the used Dr. Dennis Gross Advanced Retinol + Ferulic Serum and the samples I picked.
