What happened to Color IQ

I used to be able to search "Color IQ" and I would be taken to the home screen where I selected the brand and product and received a list of foundation that contained matches for my IQ number.  Now it just takes me to a screen of random foundations, with no way to find out the IQ number of anything new.

I’m upset that they got rid of this. I don’t understand why it’s gone! It was such a great feature and it worked so well! I used it religiously when picking out new products! It was a reason many people would chose Sephora over its competitors! I hope it comes back!

You should try the Shade Finder it is very accurate. I have put in different foundations I already own and it picks the shade I have every time!

Hi @hotstrawberry,

We no longer have the Color IQ program however, if you enter your Color IQ number in the search bar you will see all of the foundation shades that match your Color IQ number. I hope that this helps.

Do you know if they have plans to bring this back? This was such a great feature since I do not have a Sephora near me. It also was a primary reason why I solely shopped at Sephora...

It is back and much improved. It now performs skin and color analysis at the same time and is much more accurate.

Well that's unfortunate.  I liked being able to select new and different foundations to see where they fell on the color spectrum.
