Visa Gift card keeps getting declined

I am so frustrated! I am trying to purchase a $100 e-gift card with a $100 visa gift card as my order total is over $100 and I can’t do partial payment. My payment keeps getting declined although your site says it accepts Visa gift cards. I spoke with customer service who said they can’t process e-gift cards and they transferred me to Cash Star. Cash Star says they can’t do anything and the system won’t accept an visa gift card and to contact Sephora’s customer service! I should add that my address and name are linked to the card so should be no issue there.

Hi @LinNicole, I'm sorry you seem to be getting the run around with your e-gift  Unfortunately, Sephora does not process payments for the e-gift cards so we cannot see what the issue might be. CashStar are the ones who generally help with these issues.  Since they seem to be sending you back to us, the only thing I can recommend doing is making sure that the Visa gift card has been registered so that it can be used for online orders! Generally when a client does have a Visa gift card they would like to use on an order we direct them to purchase an e-gift with it, so I'm not sure what the issue might be.  I'm sorry we could not offer much more assistance! 

If you continue to run into issues, I might try contacting CashStar once more to see if maybe another representative can assist.
