Visa Gift Card?

Does anyone know if I can use a visa gift card to buy a sephora gift card? I have been told both by sephora employees. I have like 6 visa and mastercard gift cards that have full balances, activated etc. that I want to use to buy multiple gift cards to apply to a larger purchase. I am having trouble making the online purchases go through, and I live 3.5 hours away from the nearest store.

We do accept Visa Gift Cards as a form of payment on our website. However, it must cover the full balance of the order and be registered to a temporary address. You can contact the phone number on the back of the card to register it!

Unfortunately it still gives me an error message, I double checked all the information and the total is less than the gift card amount. Do you happen to know where I can get help for this?
