VIB perks and benefits

I wanted to become a VIB member after hearing about the perks, specifically the monthly samples and special offers/sales. I reached VIB status at the very end of December 2017. It's February now and I haven't seen any special offers or sales and I still have no idea what the "monthly gifts" are and how they work. I am disappointed that I never got the opportunity to receive my monthly gift for January, and I would like to know how I can get mine for February. I am also looking for more information about the supposed exclusive offers for VIB members, as I have never seen any on the app.
