VIB BI Points

I perchased $70 worth skincare yesterday. Being a VIB member I should have got 1.25 points for each $ I spent but got only 18 points. I believe I should be getting more points. How does the point system work?

Hi @Vandyl! It sounds like the 18 points you are seeing may be additional .25 from the purchase! The way it will show on your account should be the original subtotal and then on a separate line it will show the additional .25 points.  If you are not seeing this, please let me know and I can take a closer look!

Hi Kevin I checked my account, I noticed this earlier too but then I thought maybe I am calculating thing wrong and now I thought let me ask and see just to clear my doubts. If you see the pic below for my playbox I got only 3 points extra and for the $70 purchase, I got 18 points only. Unfortunately I fo not have logs for any older purchase, but I am sure I have been getting points like this only. Thanks Vandana

@VandyI, oh perfect! Thank you for the image.  The additional points you are seeing are being calculated correctly! An easy way to check this is to just divide the subtotal by 4 to see how many extra points you will be getting. You would divide by 4 because this will be the equivalent of the additional .25 you are supposed to receive.  For example, the 70 points you received divided by 4 is 17.5, which rounded up is 18.  So you will receive the 70 points plus the 18!

Thanks for the clarification. There is 1 thing I would like to clear. I saw your posts and you mentioned Only. 25 where in VIB gives 1.25 for each dollar spent. So if I spend $10 for my play box should'nt it be 10x1.25 as in 12.5 points.

Yes! Sorry for the confusion, the total amount of points you will receive is x1.25.  The 1=the original subtotal and the .25=the additional points.  So for the play box you will get a total of 13 points (12.5 rounded up).  It looks like that is what I am showing on your account! It has the 10 points and then the additional 3 points on a separate line.  

So it wouldn't be the original points and then an additional 13 points, it would just be 13 points total.  I hope this helps!
