VEHO delivery - useless

So, I got a text saying my package was delivered and it had a photo of someone else's front door.  

VEHO says:  "We have identified that your package was misdelivered and the driver is not able to correct it."  My question is:  why?  You make a mistake, you fix it.  Do they really expect me to walk around my neighborhood and walk up every driveway to the front door to try to find my package and then take it away from the door?  

If I had been told it was going to be delivered by VEHO, I would not have placed my order.  And if you're using some rando company, shouldn't you ask if my area is gated?  (Not that I would give my gate code to some gig driver who could just pass it along.)  Why isn't Sephora using known/normal, reliable delivery services?   

I would have been happier if it had been placed in the USPS mail.  It would have arrived in my mailbox safely.
