Used Tester found in Beauty Insider Redemption Box

Hi everyone, I am posting this in hopes that it will bring more awareness and hope that Sephora will increase their quality control checks. I received a 500-point Beauty Insider Redemption box as a GIFT and there was a used tester inside as one of the items. When I brought it to the store to see if they could do anything, the staff there told me they did not have the product in stock and asked me to contact customer service online. When I contacted customer service online, they said that because I do not have the order number, there was nothing they could do. They advised me to go to different stores to see who would have the product in stock or to get my gift-giver to contact them with the order number. I found this a bit ridiculous as I do not have time to go store to store hoping one of them has the same item and my gift-giver is an acquaintance so I am not going to hassle them for one item. If Sephora had made sure to do their quality control checks, this shouldn’t have happened. I hope that by posting, they will see this and increase their quality control checks.
