Update/Heads up about “Rookie” Status!!

I asked the other day about what I can do to help change my “Rookie” status. And to do that, it’s by reviewing products.. using the community feature and chatting and helping other Sephora Shoppers by answering questions, etc. I wanted to leave an update that I finally got a second red tally mark now!! So it seems there are three red tally marks you have to fill up to get to the next level, which I believe is “rising star”. The “tiers” are: Rookie, Rising Star, Go-Getter & Boss!! And I plan on making my way up to “Boss”. BUT MY UPDATE IS.... I CURRENTLY HAVE HELPED 63 PEOPLE AND RECEIVED 72 “THANKS” FROM PEOPLE AS WELL (where those actually saw my message and sent a “thank you” from the button available!!) So I asked how much I’d have to do, to get out of the Rookie status... and so far these are my numbers and I’ve just received a second tally!!! I’ve attached two pictures as well! Showing the people I’ve helped, and the second tally mark I now have!! ♡

Trying to figure out the tiers and I came across this post. Very helpful! I’ve just noticed I’ve been swapped from “rookie” to “newcomer”, and I notice you’re “fresh faced” now! Do you know, are these new additions?

Seems VERY inconsistent.  I've seen someone with 0 posts, in 0 groups, w/ 0 looks, w/ only 31 followers (following 1675) who was a rising star level 3.  I won't give their name publicly, but it does seem like the only thing Sephora wants you to do (in this instance) is just follow other people.

I was scrolling through the list of everyone's name & their rank.  When I saw a someone with a rank of Rising Star, Level 3, I was interested in how they got there & thought maybe I could tell by their stats.   But no, it only confused me more.  I kept looking at other people with "high ranks", and like I said before, it's just so inconsistent to me.  I'm really CONFUSED on how they do all this.

@AccidentalVIBRG  @JMeLuNez  Oh I see, I forgot we could do that. I did see one Boss with zero posts, but I think that was a spam bot account. This forum used to have  a huge problem with spam bots. They would post so much they would rise in rank. There is an explanation for the Rookies with lots of posts: this forum used to be called Beauty Talk, and in 2017 it became BIC. Everyone's rank was reset to Rookie, however many didn't stay active and never grew in rank again. I did see a Go Getter III will very few posts that made no sense to me though. Anyways, we actually have a thread on this if you are interested 🙂

I’ve seen them the groups . I didn’t realize a comment counts as a post but when you click I. Their profile it says 0 across the board . Maybe their is some bug or glitch in the system making the numbers random idk . It still doesn’t make any sense why some with very little activity show boss and and some erookies have lots of activity . Not saying that’s is me I was just noticing it and trying to figure it out ...

I agree it doesn’t make any rhyme or reason I was trying to figure it out as well but I’ve seen “boss” on accts with little to no followers with no posts no reviews no interactions/helps/answers... and rising stars with 22-224 post and 100s of review and some followers it all just seems very random ...
