Unsuccessful authorization

I placed an order twice but it got cancelled. Sephora did not send me an email to let me know it was cancelled. I logged into track my order and found out it was cancelled and says unsuccessful authorization. It’s my account my credicard am not sure why it keeps on cancelling my order without a reason. Sephora will lose lot of money and customers like this. I saw so many posts saying same thing happened to them. I read one post that says if it says unsuccessful authorization you are banned from ordering online. Am not sure why they would ban so many people.

The same thing happened to me. Payment was deducted, I can still see the payment reflecting on my credit card but my order was canceled due to “unsuccessful authorization”. I tried calling customer service but no one has any answers and they said I have to resolve it with my financial institution to get the money back. I was going on vacation so opted for pickup in store, but never going to do it again. I don’t think I can trust Sephora with online shopping..
