Unsuccessful Authorization

I’m so frustrated about this whole unsuccessful authorization thing. I’ve made orders during the 20% off that were canceled and I wasn’t notified. So I “missed” the sale. Then I tried again, paying regular price, same thing. I tried again just this past weekend and my orders were canceled AGAIN! Apparently this isn’t just a me thing. What is going on with this??
