Unsuccessful Authorization

I have placed an order that was canceled for the reason of "unsuccessful authorization", without any further explanation. I haven't even received an email from Sephora stating that the order was canceled. I have placed the exact same credit card information as I always do when I order online, so I don't understand what the problem is.

 

Does anyone know what the issue is, and how I can fix it? I replaced the order again, but I'm worried it'll get cancelled again.
