Unprofessional In-Store Experience

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience at Sephora yesterday. I asked the cashier if I could split my purchase into two separate transactions because I had three items and wanted to pay for one first, then the other two. She refused, saying it was “for security reasons,” even though I explained I could pay by tap since I didn’t have my physical card.

Her tone was rude and unprofessional, and she embarrassed me in front of the people waiting in line. As a customer, I believe I have the right to pay for my items the way I choose. This was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had at Sephora, and I didn’t expect to be treated this way.
