Unable to use 25% off First Purchase using new Sephora cc

I am having problems with being able to claim my 25% off my First Purchase using my new Sephora cc. I keep getting the message "Your order or profile does not qualify for the first purchase discount with Sephora Credit Card." There is no explanation why or how to fix the problem. What's wrong with my profile or order that I can't use the offer? HELP!
