Titanium Dioxide Mexican Study - Cancer Causing

Hello,

I am wondering when Titanium Dioxide will be added/included to the banned substances list and added as a choice for Profile, e.g. Titanium Dioxide-Free? A recent study conducted in Mexico shows that the substance lingers in the colon and liver of colon cancer patients. The substance is now banned in Mexico and is banned in other countries - Europe. It is frequently added to foods and make up related to color. It is in many skin care products, sunscreens. it is a white powder nano-particulate and appears to be quite dangerous. The FDA hasn't deemed it cancer-causing but clearly other countries equivalent organizations do not agree.

Hi @ValBlue

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I will forward this to the appropriate team for consideration in any future changes!

Regards,

Danee
