Terrible customer service for online orders

I am appalled and surprised by the terrible customer service I received after placing an online order with Sephora.  I placed an order for 2 Christmas gifts for my granddaughter.  One of the items I ordered arrived on time but was not what I ordered.  I called customer service and they told me they would resend the item. The second item never arrived so I went online to see when it would come.  It had been delivered to a different address. The address was one I had lived at 15 years prior.  I called CS again and was told it was delivered and they could not give me another delivery or a refund since it was delivered.  I asked to speak with someone else and the CS rep I then spoke to said they would review the case and send an email within 48 hours. I got the nastiest email then.  It said since I had multiple issues at this address that they would not be refunding or reshipping the item.  They then went on to say that if I placed another order online that I would do so at my own risk.  They would not be helpful with any online orders in the future.

 

What kind of company treats good customers this way?  I'm just in utter disbelief.

@mknapp, I'm so sorry to hear this! It looks like your private messages are turned off, and you can adjust your preferences in your Community settings (on the browser only, not the app).
