Temporary Card DOES NOT work

Looks like I'm not the only one... applied and was accepted for a VISA card- tried to use my 25% off and my temporary card only to receive the error: "For security reasons, we cannot accept your temporary credit card with Sephora for this purchase. Please change your payment method. Your new credit card with Sephora is on the way and you can use it soon."  Customer service pushes this off to the credit card company. Credit card company states they cannot do anything to wait for the card. LOL . what a joke. Please remove off your website that you can use your card immediately -because I CANNOT.  Apparently, this is an ongoing issue and totally unacceptable - how has this not been fixed by now? Customer service is a joke, and nothing has been resolved. Thanks for nothing Sephora .

To anyone having this same issue:

I strongly encourage you all to tag Sephora on Twitter/X atSephora (and Facebook) with hashtag: #TemporaryCreditCard and demand attention to your issue because complaining in a Sephora-owned chat will get zero results.They got what they wanted from you which is your application, so why would they care?

On Twitter, for the whole world to see, would probably be bad for business unless they do the right thing and FIX it.

Wow- this is your resolution?? Under the FAQs it literally says you can immediately use your temporary card that day upon approval...lies..and nothing to say about that..right? Why can you not help now? Looks like I'll be reporting to BBB on how misleading this whole process has been.

Wow what a LAME response from customer service. TERRIBLE customer service. You guys are partnered with Kohl’s ( sinking ship) I think u can get off your high horse now… terrible company order from direct brand you will be treated a lot better & actually get your samples. Sephora is about as Prestigious as my toilet seat.
