Tarte creaseless concealer

I have had an unopened tarte creaseless concealer for about a year but I’ve never opened it or touched it until now. But when I used it it separates and won’t blend on my skin. Is it old or bad? Is it my skin? Is it my beauty blender? This has never happened before and I’ve been using this concealer for years and they usually last a long time too

@Del5858 I may suggest checking the packaging for the expiration date as it is possible it may be expired. Thanks!
