Store credit

Hi, so my mom made some returns in store almost a year ago and she’s never used her store credit so she gave me the card but i dont know if I could use it. Would I have to use her beauty insider account at checkout in order to use it or can I use my own phone number and checkout and still pay with her store credit card?
