Store credit can’t use online

I have 2 store credits that I haven’t used because I don’t need anything yet. Yesterday, i was trying to make a purchase and can’t use it because it’s asking for a pin and there is no PIN. I searched about this online and found out about the Sephora policy. I don’t live close to any Sephora store, maybe once in a while i will go if we have to go to the city. The cashier did not tell me about it and was told that i can use it online. I just think this is not fair. And with the high gas prices right now, im not gonna drive that far just to redeem this store credit.

@NyLeiRoL I'm sorry for the confusion! Store merchandise cards can only be used in store and I'm sorry you weren't informed of this at the time of your return. The merchandise credit will never expired and can be redeemed in any of our freestanding stores.
