Store Credit to Gift Card

I returned a foundation today which I had previously purchased with money I got back from returning a different foundation. The store associate, however, gave me my money back in the form of store credit, even though I had the receipt to prove that I had paid using my credit card for the original foundation. I would like to buy some thing online, however, I am now unable to do so, because the store associate refused to refund me in the correct payment, and now I am only able to use it in store , which is very inconvenient because the product I want is sold out at my store. is there anyway I can get a gift card or an option to buy some thing online with the store credit? is anyway I could submit proof of my receipts and potentially be refunded using my original payment method?

@npatel423 We aren't able to switch a store merchandise card to a gift card or use it online. I would recommend contacting the store directly for further assistance.
